Welcome to the Hampton Elementary School PTA!
We believe elementary school is about more than what happens in the classroom. The Hampton PTA brings families together, supports our teachers and staff, and creates experiences that make Hampton feel like a community.
From family events and fundraisers to teacher appreciation and student programs, there is always something happening at Hampton.
We Need You. Just Do ONE Thing.
The PTA works because our Hampton community works together.
We know families are busy, and we know everyone has different amounts of time, energy and resources to give. We’re not asking you to do everything. We’re asking you to do what you can.
Maybe you volunteer at an event. Maybe you help from home. Maybe you join the PTA, attend a fundraiser, donate to a program, bring your family to an event, or connect us with a local business.
Just do ONE thing.
And if volunteering isn’t possible right now, that’s okay. Joining the PTA or making an additional donation is another meaningful way to support our school.
Every contribution helps, and when all of us chip in a little, we can do a lot for Hampton.
What Does the PTA Actually Do?
The Hampton PTA is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our students, families, teachers and staff.
We raise money throughout the year and put those funds directly back into our school. Our support includes:
- Teacher and staff appreciation and hospitality throughout the year
- Classroom resources and supplies
- Cultural arts and educational enrichment programs
- Field trip assistance
- Family events and community-building activities
- School improvements and special projects
We fundraise so we can say yes to the people, programs and improvements that make Hampton better.
Your PTA Membership Makes a Difference
Joining the PTA is one of the easiest ways to support Hampton.
Membership does not require you to volunteer, attend meetings, or take on a committee. It simply means you’re choosing to be part of an organization working to make a difference at your child’s school.
Your membership dues help support the PTA’s overall work, including educational enrichment, cultural arts programs, field trip support and other opportunities for our students. A portion of membership dues also supports local and National PTA, our state and national organizations that provide resources, advocacy and support for PTAs and families.
You don’t have to volunteer to be a PTA member. You just have to believe in what we’re doing.
